By using Business MOT UK ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Business MOT UK provides a free online business health assessment tool for UK small and medium-sized businesses. The Service includes a 20-question assessment, a health score, AI-generated recommendations, benchmarking data, and a personal dashboard for tracking progress over time.

The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute professional business, financial, legal or accounting advice.

You may use the assessment without an account. To save your results and access the dashboard, you must create a free account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You must not share your account with others or use the Service to represent a business you do not have authorisation to act on behalf of.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use automated tools to access the Service without our prior written consent
• Resell or commercialise the Service without a separate written agreement

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness or reliability of the assessment results or AI recommendations.

Business decisions made based on the output of the Service are made at your own risk. Always seek qualified professional advice before making significant business decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Business MOT UK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of profits, data or business opportunity.

Our total liability to you in any circumstances shall not exceed £100.

All content, branding, software and methodologies on the Service are owned by or licensed to Business MOT UK. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the Service without our express written permission.

Your assessment data remains your own. You grant us a limited licence to use it to operate and improve the Service, including generating anonymised benchmarking statistics.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you are in breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
